Why dont these people answer their phone
Maybe you are calling on the day they're closed? I ALWAYS get an answer. And yes, they're pretty busy. Always top notch too! Especially on Sundays for all you eat Sushi in the evenings.
I love this place! I do have a problem getting someone to answer the phone for my takeout order during the day. I've been trying call this morning from 11:45- 12:10- no answer. Is there alternate phone number?
He used to close one weekday each week, then stopped that, then started it again I thought. Maybe today is the day he is closed now?
What is on the sushi menu
EVERYTHING. They have like a 3 page sushi menu. Combos, individual, boxes, everything you can think of, and the chef can cater to your requests.

Great stop after doing the Skyline drive. Several great options to choose from. I have a wheat intolerance and they were very helpful and substituted shirataki (wheat-free) noodles for the normal noodles with wheat. The sweet Sake sampler was very good too.

Do not judge this place by the outside. It is a very good sushi restaurant. We have had sushi all over the country and this one is Excellant. The fatty tuna is some of the best we have had, worth the trip alone. Highly recommend!!!

I love this venue very much. theres a different spirit. The meals are splendid. the service is efficient and the team is courteous. The price is modest. I warmly recommend.

BEST sushi in Front Royal/Winchester Area hands-down! Sketchy on the outside, but great sushi and service on the inside. The Sunday all-you-can-eat sushi buffet is great! Definitely recommend the Sake sampler as well. Sushi chef is a master!

Regular hangout and lunch place for sushi among my group of friends. Food is always great, staff is personable and friendly, and prices are very fair. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Always above and beyond service! I've been to yamafuji multiple times for the past couple years and I've never been disappointed. Even on the most crowded days the waitresses are quick to serve with quality. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the buffet is one of the cheaper options to go by but very delicious and plentiful for variety, however my favorite is the laminated menu where you can taste different fish and items individually. I'd recommend saving up money for going there though, you might buy out the entire restaurant because there's so much to try!!
